Michael Goldberg

Michael Goldberg is state certified by the State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Workers' Compensation law. Mr. Goldberg also provides personal representation in Personal Injury Law, Social Security Disability Law and Employment Law in all courts in California. In addition, Mr. Goldberg is a member of the Supreme Court Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts Of The Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California.

Michael Goldberg graduated from Dorsey High School of Los Angeles in 1965. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1969. He went on to graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.

David Ibarra

David Ibarra graduated from California State University of Fresno in 2006, with a degree in political science and a minor in philosophy. He was a member of Chicanos in Law and Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity. As a winner of the Maddy Institute Scholarship/Internship, Mr. Ibarra interned for the office of U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer.

In 2007, David began his graduate studies at San Joaquin College of Law. He received his Juris Doctor and was admitted to the bar in 2010. While at SJCL, he founded the student organization LawSUIT (Law Students United in Tolerance) and served as president of the organization for three years. He was awarded Student of the Year in 2008 and he also served as the Student Bar Association class representative and president. He was a member of Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity and he interned for the public defender's office.

He is currently a member of the La Raza Lawyers Association and California Applicant Attorney Association. Mr. Ibarra and his wife, Jennell Casillas, founded the Ibarra/Casillas Scholarship for SJCL law students. Mr. Ibarra is currently a partner of The Law Offices of Goldberg & Ibarra and practices workers' compensation, Social Security and personal injury.

Russell Sahlin

Russell Sahlin graduated from the University of California, Irvine, in 1975, with a degree in Biological Sciences and a degree in Chemistry. He attended a year of studies in Medicine at the University of Southern California from 1975 to 1976, and a year of graduate studies at UC, Irvine, in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from 1976 to 1977.
After careers in chemistry and the printing industry, he began his doctoral studies at Western State University College of Law, in Fullerton, Calif., receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1990, and was admitted to the bar in 1991. While at WSU, he was an active member of the Student Body Association and was honored with the Dean James Brower Achievement Award after his first year of law school for significant contribution to the learning environment for his fellow students. He was invited to join the WSU Law Review at the start of his second year and was voted Outstanding Law Review staff member that semester. He served as an executive editor of Law Review the next semester.  He was an active participant in WSU’s Legal Clinic, providing pro bono assistance to citizens of the community.

He practiced law in Los Angeles and Orange counties during the first nine years of practice in the areas of Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Real Property and Landlord/Tenant Law, as well as Probate and Trust Litigation. He moved to Turlock, Calif., in 2000 with his wife, Sharon, and began practicing in Modesto at that time in Personal Injury, Civil and Business Litigation and Social Security Disability law.
He is currently an associate attorney with The Law Offices of Goldberg & Ibarra and practices Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, Workers' Compensation Law and is a member of the California Applicant Attorney Association.
